Visa Waiver Agreements:
The Government of India has bilateral Visa Waiver Agreements for holders of Diplomatic / Official / Service Passports in several countries. The details of such agreements can be viewed at https://www.mea.gov.in/bvwa-menu.htm.
Regular Conference Visa:
Delegates holding Diplomatic / Official Passports of countries with whom India does not have a Visa Waiver Agreement, may apply for a regular/paper Conference Visa with multiple entries at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/.
Visas will be issued on a gratis basis to all accredited delegates and accompanying spouses (including ordinary passport holders). Once accreditation is complete, delegates may submit a visa application along with a copy of their accreditation letter and a Note Verbale from the respective Ministry of Foreign Affairs or competent authority to the nearest Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate for issuance of the appropriate Indian visa.
E-Conference Visa:
Delegates holding Ordinary Passports from eligible countries under the e-Visa regime may apply for e-Conference Visas at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. Please note that the e-Visa facility is not available for holders of Diplomatic / Official / Service / International Travel Documents (such as UNLP). Accordingly, delegates from international organizations holding such travel documents or United Nations Laissez-Passer should apply for regular/paper Conference Visas via https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/.
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI):
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders attending the AI Impact Summit as delegates must obtain prior permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India through https://ociservices.gov.in/onlineOCI/. The accreditation letter issued by the Summit Secretariat must be uploaded when applying for such permission.
For delegates traveling on e-Conference Visas, biometric details will be mandatorily captured at the port of entry upon arrival in India. Delegates are requested to ensure that their passports have a minimum validity of six months beyond the date of arrival in India and at least two blank pages for visa endorsement.
