Setting the Stage for Innovation, Collaboration, and Impact






















This high-level roundtable, co-hosted by ITI and the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C., convened 40–50 senior leaders from government, industry, and technology sectors to examine the transformative potential of agentic AI in driving economic productivity. Proposed speakers included senior U.S. officials, India’s Ambassador to the U.S., MeitY leadership, and CXOs from major AI companies. Discussions focused on agentic AI capabilities, autonomy, memory, and orchestration, and their applications across public services, scientific discovery, and priority industries. The roundtable advanced responsible adoption, SME access to AI, and strengthened U.S. India cooperation in research, innovation, and governance ahead of the AI Impact Summit 2026.

This session formed part of the Data Security Council of India’s Annual Information Security Summit (AISS), a three-day industry-led conference convening cybersecurity leaders, policymakers, enterprises, and technology experts. AISS 2025 examined key themes including security leadership, privacy governance, cybercrime, AI and quantum, and cyber diplomacy. The session brought together diverse stakeholders to discuss responsible AI, technical safeguards, and governance frameworks critical to secure and ethical AI adoption. It contributed to enhanced awareness of safe and accountable AI, enabled technology matchmaking for responsible AI solutions, and generated inputs for a follow-up white paper and webinar on advancing trusted AI ecosystems.

The Demo Day celebrated the completion of Google’s equity-free AI First accelerator for 20 high-potential Indian startups advancing agentic AI systems, multimodal and foundational models, and Responsible AI tools. Founders showcased their progress through pitches, live demos, and networking with investors and ecosystem leaders, supported by expert mentorship across product, cloud, design, and growth. Endorsed by IndiaAI Mission leadership, the event strengthened national innovation capabilities, built visibility for emerging talent, and encouraged investment and partnerships. It directly supported the Summit’s focus on human capital, startup growth, and India’s leadership in responsible AI.

This in-person workshop empowered NGOs participating in Project Tech4Dev’s AI Cohort Program with practical guidance on Responsible AI, safety principles, and emerging social-sector use cases. Over three days, NGOs worked closely with mentors and knowledge partners to refine problem statements, design AI solutions, and contextualize tools for education and health programs. The event culminated in presentations of prototypes, pilots, and early impact lessons, with all content recorded for open access. It advanced scalable, field-driven responsible innovation and contributed playbook inputs and adoption roadmaps, supporting the Summit’s goals of AI for economic growth and social good.

The session examined India’s rapidly evolving synthetic media landscape, highlighting both its potential for accessibility, education, and inclusion, and its risks such as misinformation, identity fraud, and non-consensual content. Policymakers, industry leaders, startups, academics, civil society, legal experts, and fact-checkers collaborated to identify governance gaps in watermarking, provenance, liability, and labelling. Through panel discussions and audience engagement, participants developed practical, Indian-context recommendations to strengthen trust, digital literacy, verification systems, and accountability. The event supported the Summit’s goals of safe, inclusive, and resilient AI, while encouraging research partnerships and responsible innovation.

This pre-summit gathering brought together FinTech leaders, technologists, and researchers to explore how AI could transform India’s financial sector while addressing key implementation barriers. Discussions built on the RBI’s FREE-AI Committee Report and focused on enabling equitable access for small and mid-sized banking institutions. Participants examined compute and GPU availability, financial-domain software infrastructure, workforce needs, and regulatory considerations. The session concluded with actionable recommendations to support inclusion, shared digital infrastructure, responsible innovation, and capacity building ahead of the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.

This roundtable examined how Responsible AI principles could be translated into scalable, accountable practice for India and the wider Global South. It brought together policymakers, technologists, researchers, and startup leaders to discuss fairness, transparency, accountability, implementation challenges, and readiness gaps. Participants shared lessons, tools, and governance approaches to strengthen policy and ecosystem standards. The session generated actionable insights and collaboration pathways aimed at enhancing India’s Responsible AI readiness and advancing inclusive, human-centric technological development.

This side event, organised by UN OHCHR during the Annual Business and Human Rights Forum, highlighted India’s leadership in responsible AI. It showcased initiatives under the IndiaAI Mission, including the Safe & Trusted AI Chakra, and featured project presentations demonstrating human-centric governance models. The session examined India’s contributions to the Global Digital Compact and its rights-respecting AI approach. With participation from governments, industry, civil society, academia, and international bodies, it underscored how responsible AI can advance global human rights and equitable digital development.

The Cape Town Conversation 2025 brought together global policymakers, industry leaders, multilateral institutions, and civil society to advance dialogue on the future of people-centric technological development. Its dedicated AI pillar explored how artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and creative economies could drive inclusive growth and strengthen resilience across the Global South. Through keynotes, panels, and expert exchanges, the convening enabled cross-continental collaboration, highlighted youth and community opportunities, and deepened global engagement on trusted, equitable, and sustainable AI-driven progress.

Software Technology Parks of India, Nagpur has organized a Pre-Summit Event of the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 by engaging researchers, startups, innovators, academician, state governments, and citizens across the region aimed at fostering discussions and collaborations around Artificial Intelligence-driven innovation and to ensure that the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 evolves not only as a global event but also as a people’s movement across India.

The Conclave explored how technology and innovation could drive social impact, reduce systemic inequalities, and support inclusive digital transformation. Through keynotes, panels, and open dialogue, participants examined responsible AI adoption, digital empowerment, and resilience-building tools for vulnerable communities. Discussions covered ethical governance, transparency, privacy, and pathways for economic and social upliftment. The gathering brought together leaders, policymakers, academics, students, and civil society to co-create actionable, community-focused strategies for equitable and future-ready progress.

"On November 22, 2025, CyberPeace hosted the AI Safety Workshop in Ranchi under its AI Safety for Change-Makers initiative, empowering youth to champion safe, ethical, and inclusive AI development. The in-person session aligned with India AI Impact Summit 2026 priorities, focusing on digital ethics, responsible innovation, and resilience against AI risks such as deepfakes, bias, and privacy violations. Participants gained foundational AI literacy, practical strategies for combating misinformation, and pathways for leading social good and safe, human-centric AI adoption in India.

This pre-Summit convening equipped faculty with practical, classroom-ready tools through a hands-on workshop on prompting, low-compute RAG, and rapid evaluation methods. Lightning talks from NIT Warangal and NYU offered faculty-focused insights, complemented by an accessibility testimony from WebEase. The afternoon featured sessions on compute access and a Kochi Roundtable that initiated a Global Responsible AI Framework for Higher Education. Bringing together HEI leaders, faculty, ethics teams, and students, the event advanced human capital, inclusion, safety, and democratized compute access, producing lightweight outputs for Summit working groups.

Held on 21–22 November 2025 at Hotel Hycinth in Thiruvananthapuram, the 2-Day National Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Chartered Accountants convened 1,500–2,000 ICAI members to explore how AI can transform audits, taxation, compliance, and financial management through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and advanced risk-detection tools. Framed around the theme “AI as a Catalyst for Future-Ready Audits, Taxation, and Finance,” the in-person conference blended case studies, demonstrations, and expert panels to provide a practical roadmap for responsible, ethics-driven AI adoption in the profession. In alignment with India AI Impact Summit priorities, the event strengthened national capacity, positioned Indian CAs as global leaders in ethical AI use, and fostered collaboration between practitioners, regulators, technologists, and industry.

The forum highlighted how emerging technologies can transform healthcare through predictive diagnostics, remote monitoring, smart automation, and workflow optimisation. Policymakers, technologists, innovators, and researchers engaged in expert panels, live demonstrations, and AI solution showcases. The event strongly aligned with Summit priorities by promoting responsible, real-world AI adoption in clinical settings. It generated insights on ethics, equity, and accessibility, offered advocacy inputs for regulators, and supported frameworks for ethical AI in hospitals. The forum also strengthened collaboration and contributed evidence-based recommendations for national AI-in-health strategies.

This half-day workshop convened experts in healthcare and AI to refine the draft curriculum for a new course designed for medical students. Participants collaboratively strengthened learning outcomes, finalized module-wise sub-topics, and selected suitable delivery formats such as lectures, case studies, and labs. The session also aligned assessments and instructional timing, identified areas for expert contributions, and supported the broader implementation plan. The workshop advanced Summit priorities by building AI-ready medical talent, promoting scalable learning resources, and contributing to a strong foundation for nationwide adoption.

The pre-summit event hosted by MAIT examined the foundational role of AI devices and infrastructure in enabling secure, scalable, and impactful AI deployment across sectors. With participation from manufacturers, cybersecurity experts, telecom players, and device ecosystem leaders, the session addressed emerging security challenges across the AI lifecycle and highlighted opportunities to build resilient, energy-efficient, and sustainable infrastructure. Aligned with the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026, the dialogue showcased innovations expanding access, strengthened collaboration among industry, government, academia, and startups, and generated policy insights on manufacturing, supply chains, and national security to advance India’s AI readiness and global competitiveness.

"FinGlobe STPI Gandhinagar, a FinTech Centre of Entrepreneurship organized an official Pre Summit event to India-AI summit 2026 focused on the theme: “Revolutionary AI Tools in FinTech: Balancing Innovation & Trust ”. The event facilitated thought leadership discussions that contribute to the thematic focus areas of the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 - “Safe and Trusted AI” and “AI for Economic Growth and Social Good”.
The event highlighted constructive applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for increasing the trust amongst regulators, financial institutions and citizens as end consumers and empowering FinTech innovations for the economic growth and social good. Another interesting segment was on AI in RegTech, where automation and intelligent monitoring can ease compliance and reporting by financial institutions. "

The event examined how AI is reshaping FinTech by enabling transformative innovation while addressing concerns around data privacy, cyber fraud, and public trust. Discussions focused on the responsible deployment of AI-driven financial tools, ensuring that inclusion, security, and innovation progressed together. Aligned with the India–AI Impact Summit 2026, the event promoted safe and trusted AI, highlighted AI’s contribution to economic growth and social good, strengthened collaborative ecosystems, and identified emerging trends balancing innovation with regulatory compliance, ultimately supporting the development of an ethical, high-impact AI ecosystem for the financial sector.

The event served as high-level strategy forums bringing together senior industry leaders to discuss AI’s transformative potential and responsible integration across sectors. Held across four cities, the Pune and Kochi sessions focused on Human Capital in the Age of AI, examining workforce skilling and future-of-work readiness, while the Mumbai and Kolkata discussions centred on Resilience and Social Good, highlighting AI’s role in business continuity and social impact. Aligned with the IndiaAI Impact Summit’s Human Capital, Resilience, and Social Good chakras, the series generated actionable industry recommendations, encouraged inclusive regional participation, and strengthened awareness around responsible, scalable AI adoption.

ICCC 2025 explored the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on people, planet, and progress, aligning closely with the AI Impact Summit’s pillars of Human Capital, Inclusion, Safe and Trusted AI, Innovation, and AI for Economic and Social Good. The conference advanced legal and normative frameworks for AI-enabled cybercrime detection, strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration, and developed policy recommendations on AI-powered cybersecurity, quantum-safe cryptography, and adversarial threat mitigation. It also built institutional capacity for rights-respecting AI deployment, showcased cutting-edge applications in fraud and threat intelligence, and addressed emerging risks such as deepfakes, generative misuse, and synthetic identities, continuing ICCC’s legacy as a leading global forum on law and technology.

The session explored how Artificial Intelligence is transforming employment and the nature of work, examining workforce transitions, emerging skill demands, and policy frameworks needed for inclusive and sustainable growth. Emphasising responsible innovation and human–machine collaboration, it brought together European and Indian policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and civil society representatives as part of a global pre-summit series. Aligned with the AI Impact Summit’s focus on Human Capital and Safe, Trusted AI, the dialogue addressed transparent and fair AI use in employment, shared best practices for large-scale upskilling, advanced cross-border collaboration, and contributed to a roadmap for inclusive workforce development in an AI-enabled economy.

As part of the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, Microsoft and The Quantum Hub hosted a New Delhi pre-summit event, “AI Forward: Skilling for the Future,” on 18 November 2025. The programme featured a fireside chat with Minister Jayant Chaudhary and Microsoft’s Lisa Monaco, followed by a high-level panel with leaders from Microsoft India, YuWaah–UNICEF, and V. V. Giri National Labour Institute, focused on how AI is reshaping work and why India must invest in large-scale, inclusive skilling to become the Global South’s skill capital. The event underscored the importance of collaborative, ethical AI skilling and showcased Edunet Foundation’s on-ground initiatives in building AI capabilities across the country.

A key regional gathering that brought together governments, innovators, development partners, and global experts to advance interoperable and AI-ready digital health systems for the WHO South-East Asia Region. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation around Digital Public Infrastructure, global standards–based interoperability, and responsible AI adoption in health. Led by NeGD along with MoHFW, MeitY, NHA, WHO-SEARO, and UNICEF, the convening served as an important milestone on the road to the Global AI Summit, reinforcing India’s role in shaping inclusive, secure, and future-ready digital health ecosystems.

The event, powered by Google for Startups, was a curated multi-city initiative spotlighting India’s rapidly growing Agentic AI ecosystem. The series brought together AI startup founders, CXOs, investors, and ecosystem enablers for interactive sessions featuring real-world demos, expert panels, startup showcases, and networking. It explored how AI is augmenting human capability, driving enterprise transformation, and reshaping the future of work. By fostering collaboration among startups, enterprises, and investors, the series advanced inclusive innovation, capacity building, and responsible AI adoption—strengthening India’s position as a global AI innovation hub.

The event brought together global leaders across government, industry, and research under the theme “FUTURISE.” Featuring 100+ sessions, 600+ experts, and multiple tracks spanning AI Universe, DeepTech, Digital Health, and semiconductors, the summit showcased innovations shaping India’s technology landscape. With 1200 exhibitors, 1000 investors, and over 100,000 attendees, BTS 2025 strengthened industry–government–academia collaboration, advanced policy-to-practice dialogues, enabled startup scaling through global partnerships, and recognised excellence across IT exports, biotech, and emerging ventures.

The “Building Digital Infra in India – Accelerating Data Center Build-Out” session in New Delhi gathered industry, government, and investment leaders to discuss scaling India’s data center infrastructure as an engine for AI innovation. The event addressed investment opportunities, regulatory challenges, and sustainable practices necessary to meet soaring demand for digital and AI-ready infrastructure, emphasizing data centers’ role as critical national assets. Key outcomes included policy recommendations for MeitY, alignment with clean energy goals, and frameworks to strengthen India as a global AI infrastructure hub while ensuring inclusivity and public–private collaboration.

The roundtable on "AI Diffusion and Impact in India," held on November 18, 2025, in New Delhi and chaired by Shri Abhishek Singh, brought together senior government officials, global tech leaders, policymakers, and civil society to discuss accelerating AI adoption for inclusive growth and social empowerment. The session focused on infrastructure, workforce skilling, and policy enablers, highlighting AI’s potential for welfare and economic efficiency across the Global South. The dialogue supported the AI Impact Summit 2026 themes of Economic Growth, Social Good, Inclusion, and Resilience, positioning India as a leader in people-centric AI deployment.

This pre-summit event advanced global dialogue on bridging the AI divide and ensuring fair access to AI opportunities. Aligned with thematic priorities such as human capital, inclusion, safe and trusted AI, resilience, and social good, it focused on the future of work and the need for inclusive value chains and digital skill development. Organised as a strategic side event to the UN CSTD Inter-sessional Panel, it leveraged Geneva’s multilateral ecosystem to strengthen international cooperation. The discussions identified priority issues for the Global South, generated actionable governance recommendations, and contributed insights to the AI Impact Summit.

The Indo-European Policy Exchange on AI Governance, held on November 17, 2025, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, was a panel discussion hosted by The Dialogue and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). It launched a paper series comparing AI governance approaches between India and the European Union, highlighting differing regulatory philosophies and governance models. The event fostered dialogue to strengthen India–EU cooperation on responsible, ethical, and sustainable AI, positioning India as a thought leader for the Global South. Key outcomes included insights to inform India’s AI policy, enhanced bilateral networks across policy, academia, and industry, and reinforcement of India’s role as a bridge-builder in inclusive, human-centric AI governance. This event aligned with the Safe and Trusted AI pillar of the AI Impact Summit 2026.

A two-day national celebration of AI-driven learning and youth-led innovation aligned with the Summit’s themes of Inclusion and Social Good. Featuring student AI showcases, Data Lab demonstrations, interactive workshops, and the launch of ‘AI for Space’ and ‘AI for Accessibility’, the festival promotes practical AI skilling and collaborative problem-solving. Supported by IndiaAI Mission, MeitY, ISRO, NITI Aayog, AIM, CBSE, and Intel, it empowers over 150 students and educators, generates real-world solutions, and strengthens India’s AI ecosystem through inclusive education and public–private collaboration.

The roundtable on "Utilizing Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) as Techno-legal Solutions for AI Governance," held on November 17, 2025, at the India International Centre, New Delhi, explored how India's proven DPI platforms like Consent Managers, DigiLocker, and Bhashini can embed governance principles directly into AI systems. The discussion emphasized multi-stakeholder collaboration to establish practical techno-legal frameworks for accountability, compliance, and ethical AI adoption. This event aligned with the AI Impact Summit's focus on Safe and Trusted AI, aiming to produce actionable recommendations feeding into the 2026 Summit and strengthen India's role in responsible AI governance through DPI integration.

The “AI by Her” pre-summit workshop took place on November 17, 2025, at IISc Bengaluru, bringing together global researchers and innovators to advance women-led AI solutions. Jointly hosted by WEP, IISc, and ARTPARK, the event focused on showcasing frontier research, catalyzing cross-border collaboration, and building a global network for gender-inclusive AI. Outcomes included policy recommendations for the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 and the launch of the “AI for Her” Network, aiming for sustained collaboration and impact across academia, industry, public health, and entrepreneurship.

The DHN HealthTech Innovation Challenge 2025, held in hybrid format at IIT Indore provided a national platform for HealthTech startups to pitch AI-powered solutions in diagnostics, interoperability, mental health, and chronic care. The event featured a Demo Day, expert jury, keynote panels on ethical AI in medicine, and the announcement of Ivory as Best HealthTech Startup, with Curebay Technologies and Plus91 Technologies as runners-up. Key outcomes included startup–hospital pilot commitments, mentorship, and policy guidance to accelerate scalable, secure digital health innovations for India’s healthcare ecosystem.

At the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) in Bharat Mandapam, Hon’ble Minister Jitin Prasada inaugurated the MeitY Pavilion featuring three thematic zones—Digital India, IndiaAI, and MyGov. As a preview for the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, the IndiaAI Zone showcased India’s commitment to safe, trusted, and inclusive AI with interactive exhibits on the seven pillars of the IndiaAI Mission: AI Kosh, Applications, Future Skills, Startups, Compute, Foundational Models, and Safe & Trusted AI. Visitors explored live demos and initiatives including the India-AI Impact Expo, Pitch Fest, Global Impact Challenges, and youth and women-led innovation programs, highlighting India’s growing global leadership in citizen-first, technology-driven public infrastructure and responsible AI for social good.

The CXO Roundtables at Nasscom Technology Confluence 2025, held from November 5 to 19 across Pune, Mumbai, Kochi, and Kolkata, gathered senior industry leaders to discuss AI’s role in workforce skilling, resilience, and social impact. Each city focused on themes aligned with the IndiaAI Impact Summit, fostering decentralized dialogue on AI adoption challenges, best practices, and inclusive growth strategies. The roundtables generated actionable insights and regional perspectives to directly inform the IndiaAI Summit, promoting responsible AI integration across India’s industrial hubs.

A national digital safety and creative expression competition empowering students, educators, and young creators to promote safe, ethical, and responsible internet use. Organized with NCERT and CyberPeace, the initiative invited participants to create reels, posters, stories, and digital campaigns on cyber awareness, AI safety, and positive online behavior. Aligned with the India AI Impact Summit 2026 theme of Trust & Safety, winning entries were showcased at the Summit’s Trust & Safety Pavilion and featured in the AI Safe Bharat Youth Voices panel, contributing to CyberPeace’s AI Safety Curriculum and advancing digital literacy nationwide.

The event brought together thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and young professionals to explore how Artificial Intelligence and data-driven insights can accelerate India’s journey toward inclusive and sustainable growth. Featuring keynotes, panel discussions, and a student datathon, the event spotlighted responsible and inclusive AI for nation-building under Viksit Bharat @2047. It emphasized collaboration between government, academia, and industry, promoting ethical innovation and applied learning. The conclave also generated actionable insights and a White Paper to inform the India AI Impact Summit 2026 under the themes of People, Planet, and Progress.

Held in partnership with the Department of IT, E&C, Government of Telangana. The summit brought together policymakers, technologists, civil society leaders, and community representatives to reimagine AI, data governance, and platform accountability for equitable, rights-based digital ecosystems. Featuring anthology launches, toolkit releases, and the Just AI Awards 2025, the event advanced dialogue on ethical AI, participatory governance, and community resilience—aligning closely with the IndiaAI Impact Summit’s pillars of Human Capital, Inclusion, and Safe & Trusted AI.

The session focused on building sustainable market demand for women’s participation in AI-enabled and digital work ecosystems. Shifting the lens from supply-side skilling to demand-driven solutions, the discussion explored strategies, partnerships, and market mechanisms that integrate women into digital value chains. It examined models ensuring fair compensation, safety, and long-term viability for women’s digital livelihoods. Aligned with the IndiaAI Mission’s Human Capital and Inclusion pillars, the session emphasized structural pathways to embed gender inclusion in the AI economy and advance equitable, future-ready workforce development.

A high-level pre-summit dialogue supporting the India AI Impact Summit 2026. This closed-door roundtable convened around 20 influential leaders from government, industry, academia, and philanthropy to advance UK–India collaboration on inclusive and responsible AI governance. Through keynotes, moderated discussions, and cross-sector engagement, the session strengthened alignment on shared priorities—AI for human development, ethical innovation, and global safety—building momentum toward the India AI Impact Summit 2026 under the theme People, Planet, and Progress.

A high-level dialogue focused on ensuring women’s equitable participation in the AI economy, aligning with the IndiaAI Mission’s Human Capital pillar. Opening with the question, “As AI redefines the nature of work, how do we ensure women are not left behind, but lead this transformation?”, the session explored opportunities and risks for women’s employment, future-ready skilling, and gender-responsive AI design. Featuring cross-sectoral experts, it spotlighted innovative models such as community data labs and women-led digital cooperatives. The event also marked the launch of the Sanmati 2.0 Report on women and digital inclusion.

A special dinner conversation jointly hosted by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) at the Think20 South Africa Summit. The session explored how AI can be developed and deployed to reflect the diversity of human experience across languages, cultures, and identities while ensuring equitable global access to AI capabilities. Bringing together policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders, the discussion examined frameworks for inclusive AI governance, capacity-building in the Global South, and collaborative investments enabling sustainable, responsible AI ecosystems.

The panel discussion titled "Building the Backbone of India’s AI Future: Data Centre Infrastructure," held on November 13, 2025, in New Delhi, gathered government, industry, and academic leaders to focus on data centers as critical infrastructure for scalable and resilient AI growth. The dialogue centered on policy frameworks, investment opportunities, renewable energy integration, and equitable access, aiming to accelerate India’s technological self-reliance and inclusive digital progress.

On November 13, 2025, the Consulate General of India in San Francisco hosted a series of C-Suite roundtables bringing together 80 senior executives from prominent organizations such as HSBC, Zoom, J.P. Morgan Chase, and others. These in-person discussions focused on the impact of AI on organizations, emphasizing the seven pillars of the upcoming India AI Impact Summit and serving as a key pre-summit event to introduce the summit's themes to a broader audience.

The dialogue culminated in a whitepaper and served as a lead-up to the “AI for Climate Tech Summit” in Bengaluru, aligning closely with the India AI Impact Summit’s Planet and Progress themes.

The FutureTech for Bharat roundtable at ICES 2025 focused on pathways to employability through a cradle-to-career approach, emphasizing inclusivity in education and democratizing AI resources. The roundtable was hosted as part of the India CSR & ESG Summit which spotlighted Bharat-first AI pilots addressing local challenges, scalable Global South models, and launched initiatives including AI-driven CSR pilots, a whitepaper, and policy frameworks to advance responsible AI adoption aligned with the IndiaAI Mission and the AI Impact Summit 2026.

The pre-summit sessions of the India Mobile Congress 2025 convened leaders from government, industry, academia, and global institutions to explore AI’s role in enabling inclusive, safe, and sustainable growth across the digital and telecom ecosystems. Anchored in the theme “From Action to Impact,” the discussions highlighted India’s vision under the IndiaAI Mission to democratize AI access and innovation. Four high-level panels delved into AI’s transformative potential in telecom, trust-building frameworks, workforce development, and inclusive growth.

The Global Ethics Forum 2025, held in Geneva, convened policymakers, academics, civil society, and industry leaders to explore ethical challenges in governance under the theme “Reinventing Responsible Governance.” The AI track focused on safe and trusted AI and inclusion, featuring plenaries and breakout sessions to generate actionable recommendations for the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026. The Forum emphasized diverse representation, civil society’s role, and multisectoral dialogue to address AI safety risks and foster inclusive, ethically governed AI systems, producing outcome reports on AI safety and inclusion designed to inform the Summit.

The TASI Festival brought together over 100 leaders from government, industry, academia, and civil society to discuss online trust, safety, and digital well-being. Spearheaded by the Centre for Social Research, the event focused on AI safety, content moderation, and responsible digital innovation. Through panels, workshops, and collaborative sessions, the festival generated policy recommendations, strengthened cross-sector networks, and advanced national capacity on digital safety.

The "AI for Inclusion in India" panel discussion organized by the Center of Policy Research and Governance brought together diverse stakeholders, including students, professionals, educators, and civil society to explore AI’s role in promoting access and equitable opportunities. Through two thematic panels, the event focused on diversity and accessibility within the Indian context, grounding discussions in real-world experiences.

He TGIF – GIFT Innovation Forum (AI Edition) in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, convened an invite-only ecosystem event and a closed-door roundtable with key AI leaders. The discussions focused on bridging ecosystem gaps, strengthening India’s global AI competitiveness, fostering responsible innovation across sectors like fintech, BFSI, and smart infrastructure, and advancing the goals of the IndiaAI Mission.

The event focused on empowering citizens with digital literacy, cyber safety, and responsible AI awareness. The workshop brought together communities, policymakers, and industry leaders to strengthen inclusion, build resilience against cyber risks, and promote equitable access to AI knowledge and resources.

Aapti Institute, in partnership with Data2X, hosted a roundtable on Bridging the AI Divide and Enabling the Democratisation of AI. The discussion highlighted global south priorities, the importance of civil society collaboration, and placing people's agency at the centre of AI governance, shaping expectations for the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.

The AWS roundtable on Responsible AI, Digital Infrastructure, and Global Collaboration explored how India can advance responsible AI as a model for the Global South. Discussions focused on scalable digital infrastructure, enabling global collaboration for Indian startups, and policy measures to support inclusive and internationally connected AI innovation ahead of the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.

As part of India Day @ UNGA, the Observer Research Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations India Office and Reliance Foundation, convened high-level stakeholders to discuss how AI can accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The panel brought together leaders from technology, international organizations, and academia to explore actionable strategies for leveraging AI for social good.

STPI Dehradun has conducted the Pre-Summit Event under the India - AI Impact Summit 2026 by engaging researchers, startups, innovators, academician , state governments, and citizens across the state to create awareness about the upcoming India AI summit. Through keynotes, panels, and startup showcases, participants discussed workforce transformation, democratizing AI access, and ethical practices, fostering collaboration and actionable insights for responsible AI adoption.

The SAP NOW AI Tour in New Delhi demonstrated how AI can strengthen human capital, promote inclusion, and support safe, trusted, and socially beneficial applications of technology.

Researchers and practitioners discussed AI-driven approaches for monsoon and flood prediction, shared hands-on training, and explored collaborations to advance India-specific forecasting tools and open-source solutions for the broader climate and AI community.

The International Conference on AI for Sustainable Economic Growth at KPR College focused on how AI can drive inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development. The event featured keynotes, panels, and research presentations on workforce transformation, ethical AI, and green innovation, while fostering global collaboration and knowledge exchange through partnerships and research initiatives.

The Sanmati 2.0 workshop focused on expanding women's participation in India's data economy. By developing a common digital skills framework and portable credentialing models, the discussions explored practical ways to open up equitable opportunities for women from low-income and rural communities in the AI-driven future of work.

Held at the India International Centre, this discussion focused on how AI is changing the creative economy, from animation and gaming to new forms of storytelling. Speakers shared global lessons on regulation, the future of creative work, and how India can prepare for opportunities in this fast-changing space ahead of the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.

The Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C) Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) and the IndiaAI Mission, outlined a roadmap to integrate Artificial Intelligence into citizen-first governance.
