About the Challenge
India AI Tinkerpreneur is a unique national level summer bootcamp that equips school students (in classes 6 to 12 and beyond) with skills in the usage of AI tools and technologies, and empowers them to build their own AI enabled products and solutions to create social-impact.

While the program is broad, some indicative themes or problem statements that participants were recommended to explore include:

FAQs
Tinkerpreneur 2025 is a month-long virtual summer bootcamp that introduces students of classes 6 to 12 and beyond, to AI and Entrepreneurship. It’ws organized by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog in collaboration with Intel India.
Stage 1: Students register at AI Student Community (AISC)
Stage 2: Attend a series of 10 sessions on AI and Entrepreneurship, conducted by experts from industry and academia.
• Take a Quiz for each session1
• Get a certificate on completion of 8 out of 10 sessions
• Start developing their AI-enabled social impact projects
Stage 3: Submit your AI-enabled social impact project and/or business plans at the India AI Impact Festival 2025
Stage 4: Top 100 projects with business plans will join the Atal Catalyst Program wherein they get mentored by ISB.
This initiative is open to students from Classes 6 to 12 and students from Higher Education institutions across the country, irrespective of their institution type, background, or prior knowledge
No prior knowledge is needed. The bootcamp starts from the basics and includes hands-on activities and beginner-friendly content in AI, digital tools, and entrepreneurship.
You can register individually and encourage your friends/ classmates to also register for the India AI Tinkerpreneur 2025.
The registration link is open to all students, regardless of the type of educational institution they are from. ATL affiliation is not mandatory.
You will learn to identify problems, apply AI technologies, build digital products, design business models, market solutions, and pitch your venture. The session plan includes:
– 4 sessions on AI
– 2 sessions of Product development
– 4 sessions on Entrepreneurship
– 2 Masterclasses by senior leaders from Industry and Academia
The India AI Tinkerpreneur sessions will run from 11 June to 15 July 2025.
Yes. All completing students receive a certificate from AIM, NITI Aayog and Intel India Top teams will be recognized at the India AI Impact Festival 2025.

The sessions will be conducted by Intel certified AI coaches and experts from AIM. The Masterclasses will be organized by professional experts from Industry and academia.
Students can keep working on their AI-enabled project throughout the Bootcamp. The sessions will be helpful in identifying project ideas, developing the project, developing a business plan and tips for showcasing the project. If the students needs any help, they can also reach out to the mentors of change for guidance.
Participating gives you a unique chance to build entrepreneurial and AI skills early, with national-level exposure and mentorship from industry leaders.
You can explore beginner-level tools in Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Data Science to integrate into your project.
You are encouraged to identify real-life issues and build AI-enabled digital solutions that try to address such problems.
The India AI Impact Festival, a national level competition for school and college students will be launched in July 2025, organized collaboratively by Aim NITI Aayog, Intel India and other Government partners. The India AI Tinkerpreneur 2025 participants can submit their projects at the India AI Impact Festival where top AI-integrated projects will be showcased and celebrated.
There is a list of AIM Mentors of Change available on the India AI Tinkerpreneur page, with state and email details. Students can reach out to any Mentor of Change through the emails2 mentioned in the list. Mentors will be available to guide you via email and interactive sessions throughout the bootcamp.
All sessions will be conducted live by experts. Post the live session, the recording of the session and the content will be available to all registered paticipants, to learn at their own pace.
Students can register anytime and attend the live sessions, before and on respective dates
Recordings and learning materials will be available. You are encouraged to catch up and consult mentors if needed.
While not mandatory, informing your parent or teacher is encouraged for additional support.
Set weekly goals, actively engage in workshops, and interact with your peers and mentors regularly. Celebrate small wins to stay energized.
Anyone who is curious to learn, eager to explore, and willing to innovative should participate in the AI Tinkerpreneur 2025.To participate, one only needs access to a laptop or computer, and good internet connectivity
Mentor changes are not encouraged once the bootcamp starts, except under special circumstances approved by the organizers.
