State Overview

State Overview
Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, is rapidly modernising its healthcare ecosystem by integrating digital health, data-driven governance, and AI-led innovations. Under the Ayushman Bharat and state health missions, UP has significantly expanded its public health infrastructure, strengthened district hospitals, and scaled digital health records across facilities.
By actively leveraging AI for predictive disease surveillance, maternal–child health tracking, telemedicine, and early diagnostics, Uttar Pradesh Government is reducing gaps in rural service delivery.
With growing investments in health-tech startups, medical device manufacturing, and digital public infrastructure aligned with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), UP has positioned itself as a major hub for AI-assisted healthcare delivery. Its strong focus on capacity-building, data platforms, and public–private partnerships is enabling smarter health interventions, better last-mile access, and improved patient outcomes across urban and rural populations.
