About the Conference
The Odisha AI Summit 2025 is a flagship initiative of the Electronics & IT Department, Government of Odisha, showcasing the State’s leadership in responsible and scalable AI adoption. As an official precursor to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, it brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and practitioners to highlight real-world AI deployments across priority sectors.
As an official pre-event to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the Odisha AI Summit is hosted in collaboration with the IndiaAI Mission, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. In addition, Odisha will host one of the eight India AI Impact Summit Working Group Meetings on December 18, 2025, centered on the theme “Democratising AI Resources.” The Odisha AI summit will serve as a platform to formalise strategic AI partnerships, while showcasing live and deployed AI use cases across government departments. Bringing together national and international leaders from policy, industry, academia, and civil society, the event positions Odisha as a model state for responsible, inclusive, and outcome-driven adoption of artificial intelligence.

Prior to his role as Chief Secretary, he served in key positions, including Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare at the Government of India, Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education, and various leadership posts within Odisha, such as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and Principal Secretary in multiple departments. In Odisha, he is driving coordinated governance reforms and technology-enabled public service delivery, including strengthening AI adoption and administrative modernization.
