The Government of India is hosting a stakeholder consultation in the lead-up to the AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled for 19–20 February 2026 in New Delhi. The consultation will be chaired by Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

The AI Impact Summit was announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India at the France AI Action Summit. It will build on global progress made at Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris, and aims to define a future-facing agenda for inclusive, responsible, and impactful AI cooperation.

Guided by India’s vision of Harnessing the Power of AI Responsibly, for Good, and for All, the Summit will focus on translating commitments into measurable outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on global collaboration, inclusive growth, social development, and environmental sustainability through the responsible development and deployment of AI.

The stakeholder consultation will help shape India’s approach to the Summit. It will draw on cross-sectoral expertise to define priority areas, identify collaborative pathways, and refine proposed deliverables.  We welcome participation from stakeholders across academia, industry, civil society, and government. Your insights will help ensure that the AI Impact Summit delivers a globally relevant and action-oriented agenda.
